Lucca’s World is a heartfelt Mexican drama based on the autobiographical book The Two Hemispheres of Lucca by Bárbara Anderson. The story follows Bárbara (played by Bárbara Mori), a mother who, despite facing financial struggles, travels to India with her family in search of an experimental treatment to help her son, Lucca, who has cerebral palsy. Determined to give him a chance at a better life, she hopes the therapy will reactivate connections in his brain and improve his condition.
