A piano player, who fakes being visually impaired to gain sympathy and gigs, accidentally witnesses the murder of a retired film actor while “blind” at a bar. His pretense becomes a major issue as he gets caught up in the murder investigation. Trying to avoid suspicion while hiding his deception, he stumbles into a series of complications, including being mistaken for a key witness or suspect.
