In “Dangal,” Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan) is a former national wrestling champion who, after being forced to leave the sport for a steady job, vows that his future son will win a medal for India. When he has four daughters instead, his hopes seem dashed. However, after his daughters Geeta and Babita stand up to bullies, Mahavir sees their potential in wrestling and decides to train them, embarking on a journey to help them achieve greatness in the sport.
