Set in the late ’80s and early ’90s Bombay, Lucky Bhaskar follows Baskhar Kumar (Dulquer Salmaan), a middle-class bank employee struggling with stagnation in his career. Frustrated by repeated rejections for promotion, he finds himself drawn into the dangerous world of smuggling and money laundering after accepting a risky investment offer. As Baskhar delves deeper into high-stakes finance and stock markets, he soon realizes the deadly consequences of his choices. The film explores themes of ambition, corruption, and the consequences of compromising one’s morals in pursuit of wealth.
