Pushpa: The Rise follows the story of Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), a poor lorry driver in the dense Seshachalam forests of South India, who becomes involved in the illegal red sandalwood smuggling trade. Red sandalwood, a rare and valuable wood found in the region, is highly sought after in the black market. Pushpa, known for his ambition and cunning, rises through the ranks of the smuggling syndicate, facing fierce competition and powerful enemies along the way. As he navigates betrayal, violence, and corruption, Pushpa’s journey is filled with challenges that test his resolve and survival instincts. The film highlights his transformation from an outsider to a feared leader in the underworld, setting the stage for greater conflicts in the sequel.
